President Trump misquotes NY Posts brags about his ‘consensual presidency.’
Donald Trump wants you to think he is “like, a really smart person.” But it seems his actions keep proving how not smart he is.
On Sunday night, Trump attempted to use a New York Post article to brag about his presidency. I didn’t go well.
The article said Trump has had a “consequential presidency” – a debatable assertion to be sure. In fact, the guy who wrote the New York Post column praising Trump is a friend of his.
But instead, Trump tweeted about his “consensual presidency.”
As expected, the tweet led to a massive response on Twitter where people pointed out the irony of Trump misusing the word consent because of his long history of sexually harassing and assaulting women.
