Mueller Just Filed Even More Charges Against Paul Manafort
Special Counsel charges former Trump campaign chair of paying off European politicians.
Things just went from bad to much, much worse for Paul Manafort.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller just filed additional charges against Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
Mueller on Friday filed yet another superseding indictment against Manafort, this time alleging that Manafort orchestrated a massive multi-million dollar payoff scheme of European politicians on behalf of the pro-Russian Ukrainian president.
The new charges come on the same day that Manafort’s former top deputy Rick Gates agreed to plead guilty and become a cooperating witness in the Trump-Russia investigation.
