WaPo Just Reported That Flynn Has Dropped The Dime On Kushner
There was a little-noticed detail at the end of the Washington Post report about Kushner’s security clearance.
In a week where Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation made so much news it’s hard to remember, it seems that they held the best for last.
On Friday evening, the Washington Post reported that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein called the White House two weeks ago to inform them that Jared Kushner’s security clearance review had hit substantial roadblocks.
If that wasn’t big enough news, the Washington Post left a little-noticed detail about what those roadblocks might be at the end of the article.
According to the report, the issues that have been raised with Kushner’s security clearance are at least in part related to Michael Flynn’s cooperation deal with the Special Counsel.
As the Washington Post notes, “Kushner’s actions during the transition have been referenced in the guilty plea of former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, who admitted he lied to the FBI about contacts with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Prosecutors said Flynn was acting in consultation with a senior Trump transition official, whom people familiar with the matter have identified as Kushner.”
That is the clearest indication yet that President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn has been sharing significant information with Mueller’s team of investigators.
And based on this report, it looks like Flynn has dropped the dime on Kushner.
