Trump Has Been Asking Witnesses About Mueller’s Interviews: Report
The New York Times just published a bombshell on Trump’s obstruction of justice.
President Donald Trump has been interfering with the Special Counsel investigation of his administration.
According to a new report by The New York Times, Trump has been asking aides who have been interviewed by Special Counsel Mueller’s investigators about the details of their interviews.
The report confirms that Special Counsel Mueller’s team is aware of the interactions that the president had with White House counsel Don McGahn and former chief of staff Reince Priebus, suggesting Mueller has been getting near-real-time information from the Trump White House.
According to the New York Times, Trump told an aide that McGahn should release a statement refuting a New York Times story from January which stated that Trump asked McGahn to fire Mueller. Trump later had to be reminded that he, in fact, asked to fire Mueller.
Trump also asked Priebus whether the investigators were “nice” during Priebus’ interview with investigators.
