Putin Just Blamed The ‘Jews’ For U.S. Election Interference

No coincidence that both Putin and alt-right Trump supporters are always blaming the “Jews.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin took his denials to a whole new and disturbing level in a recent interview.

Russia has a long history of anti-Semitism within the country and almost as long a history of trying to stoke anti-Semitism in other countries.

During a new interview with NBC, Putin tried to blame for the 2016 election meddling on the “Jews.”

NBC released transcripts of the interview recently and where Putin says that Ukrainians, Tatars or “Jews,” could be to blame the 2016 US presidential election.

“Why have you decided the Russian authorities, myself included, gave anybody permission to do this?” Putin asked.

“There are 146 million Russians. So what?… I don’t care. I couldn’t care less… They do not represent the interests of the Russian state.”

“Maybe,” Putin said, “they are not even Russians but Ukrainians, Tatars or Jews, but with Russian citizenship, which should also be checked; maybe they have dual citizenship or a green card; maybe the US paid them for this.”

“How can you know that? I do not know either.”
