Trump To Fire National Security Adviser: Report
This is the one that didn’t collude with the Russians.
President Trump is getting rid of his second national security adviser in about a year.
The Washington Post is reporting that President Trump will fire his national security adviser HR McMaster.
Speculation of McMaster’s departure has intensified in recent weeks as reports about disagreements between Trump and Mcmaster have surfaced.
“President Trump has decided to remove H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser and is actively discussing potential replacements, according to five people with knowledge of the plans, preparing to deliver yet another jolt to the senior ranks of his administration,” The Washington Post reported.
The report also notes that McMaster’s departure is likely to be just the beginning of the high-level exits from the Trump administration.
According to The Washington Post, “The turbulence is part of a broader potential shake-up under consideration by Trump that is likely to include senior officials at the White House, where staffers are gripped by fear and uncertainty as they await the next move from an impulsive president who enjoys stoking conflict.”
