Special Counsel Mueller Has Confirmed Trump Is Under Investigation: Report
Donald Trump is very much under investigation and Special Counsel Mueller has told Trump’s lawyers that directly.
Donald Trump loves to boast that he is not personally under investigation. Well, according to a new report by the Washington Post, President Trump is very much under investigation.
Special Counsel Meuller personally confirmed to President Trump’s lawyers that the president is actively under investigation by the Special Counsel, though he is not a criminal target of the investigation.
Mueller also told Trump’s legal team that he will need to interview the president in order to determine the conclusion of his obstruction probe.
According to The Washington Post, Mueller is preparing a report about Trump’s actions in the White House including efforts by Trump to obstruct the Russia probe.
The Secial Counsel informed Trump’s lawyers of these facts last month during negotiations over a possible interview with the president.
