WATCH: Sam Bee Blasts Paul Ryan In ‘Portrait In Courage’ Segment
Samantha Bee blasted Paul Ryan in her “Portrait In Courage” segment Wednesday night.
Referring to Trump’s demand for loyalty from those around him Bee said of Ryan “And nobody has adapted to that reality better than Speaker of the House, and faithful husky, Paul Ryan.”
Bee played clips of members of the media calling Ryan the “conscience of the Republican party” and the GOP’s “intellectual leader.” Then Bee asked how “a principled fiscal and social conservative like Ryan wound up in bed with a bigoted, adulterous grope machine” like Donald Trump.
Bee also pointed out that a high school senior, Paul Ryan was named the “biggest brown-noser,” then she suggested that given his current allegiance to the president, “Ryan’s nose is probably more orange.”
Bee also compared Paul Ryan’s half-hearted attempts to condemn all the racist things that Donald Trump has said and done to Taylor Swift pretending to be surprised at award shows.
