BOMBSHELL: Rachel Maddow Unveils Donald Trump’s 2005 Tax Return
According to a report by the Associate Press, the White House released some numbers they claim are associated with Trump’s 2005 return. The White House claims Trump made more than $150 million in income in 2005 and paid $38 million in income taxes that year, according to the Associate Press.
In an update to her earlier tweet, Maddow sent a follow up confirming that they have Donald Trump’s 2005 tax return.

Chris Hayes confirmed that journalist and Trump biographer David Cay Johnston will join Maddow on her show tonight to discuss the Trump tax returns.
David Cay Johnston’s DCReport posted a note of Facebook saying “We have one of Trump’s tax returns.”
Johnston also tweeted saying, “On @maddow I’ll break a big story about Trump and his taxes – 9PM eastern via @DCReportMedia Ill be on @lawrence, too.”

Lawrence O’Donnel also tweeted about the Trump tax return story saying, “Yes seriously! I will be watching, then Rachel will join @TheLastWord at 10pm. This is the night we’ve been waiting for.”

Maddow Says She Has Trump Tax Returns!
Rachel Maddow announced via Twitter Tuesday that she has Donald Trump’s tax returns and will be revealing them on her show tonight.
Maddow’s tweet said:
BREAKING: We’ve got Trump tax returns. Tonight, 9pm ET. MSNBC.

It is still unclear how Maddow was able to get access to the Trump tax returns. Donald Trump is the only modern president in American history not to release his tax returns.
Donald Trump has previously claimed that he will release his taxes once an IRS audit is complete. However legal experts have pointed out that there is nothing preventing Trump form releasing his returns during an audit. Not to mention the fact that Trump has shown no evidence that there is an actual audit underway.
Donald Trump’s tax returns would help clarify whether Trump has business ties to Russia and expose any other potential conflicts of interest the president has.
