Congressman Schiff: ‘What’s The Hold Up’ With Sally Yates Testimony?
Congressman Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, continues to turn up the heat on Chairman Devin Nunes to reschedule the committee’s hearing on Russia.
In a Wednesday morning tweet, Schiff asked what’s “the holdup” with hearing testimony from former acting Attorney General Sally Yates, former director of national security James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan.
“Sally Yates is willing to testify, WH says they want her to testify, public wants to hear from her, Brennan and Clapper…what’s the holdup?”

Nunes abruptly canceled all future hearings in the House Intel Committee.
Sally Yates was the acting attorney general before Jeff Sessions was confirmed by the Senate. She was fired by Donald Trump after she refused to enforce his Muslim-ban which was later blocked in court.
The White House denied that they had tried to prevent Yates from testifying on Tuesday.
