Obama Admin Was So Worried About Russia Cover-Up They Made Secret List Of Documents To Protect Them

The Obama Administration made a secret list of documents relating to Russia probe and handed it to the Senate Intel Committee

According to a new report by NBC News, Obama administration officials were so worried about a potential cover-up by the Trump administration in the Russia scandal that outgoing members of the administration took steps to protect documents and evidence related to the investigation.

The report notes that the outgoing Obama officials “created a list of document serial numbers to give to senior members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, a former Obama official told NBC News.”

In fact, the Obama official said “he hand-carried it to the committee members” to ensure they were properly delivered.

The reason, the Obama Official said, was to make sure it would be “harder to bury” the Russia information. And “to share it with those on the Hill who could lawfully see the documents.”

All of this effort on the part of the Obama administration was to ensure that the information would reside safely with the Intel Committee and “not just at Langley.”
