Donald Trump’s Approval Rating Just Hit A New Low
Donald Trump’s already low approval rating just got even lower.
According to the new Quinnipiac Poll, Donald Trump’s job approval rating has just hit a record low.
The poll found that just 34 percent of Americans approve of Donald Trump’s job as president. At the same time, 57 percent disapprove of Donald Trump’s job as president.
In their last poll which was released at the end of May, 37 percent of American voters approved of the job the president was doing and 55 percent disapproved.
The RealClearPolitics average of polls, Trump has a job approval rating of 39.4 percent, while 55 percent disapprove of the job the president is doing.
Additionally, the poll found that 55 percent of voters say Donald Trump is abusing the powers of his office.
The poll also found that 60 percent of voters believe Trump did something illegal or unethical in his relationship with Russia. Just 32 percent say Trump did nothing wrong in his relationship with Russia.
And 68 percent of Americans are concerned about Trump’s relationship with Russia Quinnipiac found.
The Quinnipiac Poll also found that 62% of voters disapprove of Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Accord while just 32% approve.
Here are some other key numbers from the poll:
- 68 percent of voters say that President Trump is not level-headed
- 59 percent say Donald Trump is not honest
- 58 percent of voters say Trump does not have good leadership skills
- 58 percent of American voters say Donald Trump does not care about average Americans
About the poll: From May 31 – June 6, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,361 voters nationwide with a margin of error of +/- 3.2 percentage points, including the design effect.
