Trump’s Longtime Bodyguard Caught Up In Russia Investigation: Report

The Russia investigation just took another big step closer to Donald Trump personally.

According to a new report by ABC News, House investigators are now focusing in on Donald Trump’s personal bodyguard.

“Congressional investigators now want to interview Keith Schiller, President Donald Trump’s longtime bodyguard-turned-White House aide, as part of their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign,” ABC News reported.

Keith Schiller was the head of security for the Trump Organization but now serves as the Director of Oval Office operations.

Schiller is the latest Trump associate to be identified as a key witness in the Russia investigation.

As ABC notes, “The committee’s focus on Schiller and other Trump campaign officials and associates marks a new phase in the investigation — which is examining how Russia attempted to influence the election, the Obama administration’s response and allegations of collusion between Trump associates and Russian officials.”

Other close Trump associates that have been wrapped up in the Russia investigation include his son-in-law Jared Kushner, his longtime friend and political adviser Roger Stone, his campaign manager Paul Manafort and his former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Donald Trump had Schiller hand-deliver the letter of termination for former FBI Director James Comey.
