POLL: Americans Believe Trump Is Abusing Power
A new Quinnipiac poll shows that most Americans believe Trump is abusing his power.
According to the poll, 52 percent said Trump is abusing his power, with 46 percent saying he isn’t.
When asked if Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey was an abuse of power, 47 percent of respondents said it was.
Additionally, the poll found Trump with 40 percent approval rating.
Poll respondents also called for Trump to stop tweeting from his controversial personal Twitter account, with 61 percent saying he should stop.
Even Republicans agree – 49 percent said Trump should stop tweeting — the first time Quinnipiac has found more GOP voters wanting him to stop.
About the poll: Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,212 voters nationwide from June 22 to 27. The poll’s margin of error is 3.4 percentage points.
