Democratic Senator Labels Trump ‘Anti-Women’

Senator Mark Warner commented on Trump’s latest round of tweets about MSNBC host Mike Brzezinski in an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria on “Fareed Zakaria GPS.”

Warner called out Trump for being “anti-women” and “beneath the office of the presidency.”

“It was, frankly, beneath the office of the presidency. I keep thinking this president cannot surprise me anymore,” Warner told CNN.

“And yet he continues to surprise me, but always on a way that is disheartening.”

Warner continues to lambast Trump, saying his tweets do not “make our country safer.”

“And for him to make these kind of anti-women comments, inappropriate comments about Mika Brzezinski is – does not make our country safer,” continues Warner.

“It is outrageous in terms of a level of insult, I think, that all women would – took those comments, and frankly it’s beneath the – beneath him.”
