Jeremy Bash: Donald Trump Jr. Meeting A ‘Potentially Incriminating’ Revelation (Video)

Jeremy Bash, who served as chief of staff to Department of Defense and the CIA under Leon Panetta, said during an interview on NBC News Monday morning that the revelations about Donald Trump Jr. are “potentially incriminating.”

The New York Times reported Sunday that Donald Trump Jr. was promised damaging information about Hillary Clinton by a Kremlin-linked lawyer and attended a meeting seeking that information. Trump Jr. in a sarcastic Twitter post admitted taking the meeting in order to get the damaging information from the Russians about Clinton.

Bash told NBC that the Trump Jr. meeting was “billed to his colleagues on the campaign – to the campaign chairman and to the president’s son-in-law – as a way to work with a Russian government operative to affect the outcome of the 2016 election.”

“This, in effect, is everything people have been looking for. This is not only devastating to their narrative, I think it’s also potentially incriminating,” Bash continued.
