2020 Rumors: Bernie Sanders Is Going To Iowa To Promote His New Book
Senator Bernie Sanders is planning a trip to Iowa next month to promote his new book. is making a return to Iowa next month to promote his new book and the trip is already sparking rumors about a potential 2020 run.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen is reporting that Sanders will be speaking in Iowa City on August 31 about his new book, “Bernie Sanders: Guide to Political Revolution.”

Jan Weissmillert, the co-owner of Prairie Lights bookstore, notes that before Sanders launched his 2016 bid for president, Sanders came to Iowa City to read from his book “The Speech: A Historic Filibuster on Corporate Greed and The Decline of Our Middle Class.”
“We had three days to promote that event and we got 150 people to show up,” Weissmiller said.
This time Sanders will speak at an auditorium.
Sanders narrowly lost the Iowa caucuses in a heated race with Hillary Clinton.
Sanders would be 79 in 2020 and in normal years that could be a hurdle but at this point, the 2020 Dem nomination is wide open and Bernie Sanders is likely to be the favorite if he decides to run.
