Update: Trump Jr’s Russia Meeting Set Up By Pop Star Close To Putin
We just got an important update in the bombshell revelation that Donald Trump Jr. met with a Kremlin-linked lawyer who offered him damaging information about Hillary Clinton.
The Washington Post is now reporting that the meeting was requested by a Russian pop star with close ties to Vladimir Putin. The pop star is represented by Rob Goldstone, a Trump associate who set up the meeting between Trump Jr and the Kremlin lawyer.
Additionally, the Russian pop star’s family, which is very well connected in the Kremlin, “has done business with President Trump in the past.”

Rob Goldstone told the Washington Post that he set up the meeting at Agalarov’s request.
“Emin Agalarov and his father, Aras Agalarov, a wealthy Moscow real estate developer, helped sponsor the Trump-owned Miss Universe pageant in Russia in 2013. After the pageant, the Agalarovs signed a preliminary deal with Trump to build a tower bearing his name in Moscow, though the deal has been on hold since Trump began running for president.”
The Kremlin lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya told the Trump team that she had damaging information about Hillary Clinton and Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort all attended the meeting with her at Trump Tower in June.
Jared Kushner failed to disclose the meeting on his security clearance forms.
The new reports come as Special Counsel Robert Mueller ramps up his investigation into the Trump campaign’s connections to Russia.
