Trump’s LA Golf Course Sees Big Drop In Business

Despite Donald Trump’s clear effort to profit from the presidency, it looks like there is at least one Trump business that is not benefiting from the Trump name.

According to a new report, Trump’s Los Angeles golf course has seen a substantial drop in business since he announced his run for president.

The Washington post notes that revenue at Trump’s Southern California golf course has dropped about 13 percent since June of 2015.

The Washington Post report describes a recent visitor to Trump’s golf course finding the place “empty.” “It’s just dead all the time,” the man said.

“It’s under-performed the market since 2015,” said Craig Kessler of the Southern California Golf Association, according to the Post.

“Just at the time when the rest of the industry was starting to see some upticks … it seems to have gone into a decline.”

The Washington Post report also notes that Trump’s golf course has lost other revenue including charity tournaments as well as TV and film production.
