Senator Hirono Gives Passionate 11th Hour Speech About Cancer Battle (Video)

Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii delivered a passionate, personal speech pleading for her colleagues to show compassion for the millions who will lose health care if the GOP bills is passed.
In her 11th hour effort, Hirono discussed her battle with cancer.
Hirono was visibly emotional during her speech. She talked about her family’s struggles when she was growing up.
Hirono also said that growing up, her biggest fear was her mother would get sick and that her family couldn’t afford to pay for her health care.
