With Trump White House In Chaos, North Korea Tests Another Missile
BREAKING
North Korea has launched a ballistic missile by North Korea. Japanese media is reporting that the missile landed on or near Japanese territory.
There are unconfirmed reports that the missile hit land, rather than the ocean.
The Washington Post reports, “Japanese authorities also reported detecting the launch, with the missile appearing to land within Japan’s exclusive economic zone, the public broadcaster NHK said.”
Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has called an emergency meeting of senior officials.
The missile launch is the latest in a series of provocative military actions by the North Korean regime since Donald Trump took office and part of their effort to develop the capacity to send a nuclear armed intercontinental ballistic missile to the United States.
Thus far, Donald Trump has seemed overwhelmed by the North Korea issue and lacking the discipline to maintain focus on this major security threat. Trump famously asked the Chinese president, over a piece of chocolate cake, to help interview with North Korea.
However, it has since become clear that Donald Trump was played by the Chinese president who has no intention to use its leverage over North Korea.
The Pentagon has also confirmed the launch.
North Korea launched the missile just after 11 pm local time.
This story is still developing…we will update as details come in.
