Racist Sheriff Found Guilty In Racial-Profiling Case Not a great day in Trumpland.  Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt of court by a U.S. District Court judge on Monday. The conviction comes after Arpaio defied a court’s order to end racial profiling practices in his department. Arpaio will be sentenced in October for the misdemeanor and could face up to six months in prison.
