BREAKING: Senate Republicans Go Nuclear Senate Republicans on Thursday voted to change Senate rules and longstanding Senate precedent by lowering the threshold to end Senate debate from 60 votes down to 51. The move strips Democrats of the power to filibuster Donald Trump Supreme Court nominees.
