US Investigators Now Looking Into Russian Intelligence Official Who Met With Trump Jr: Report Investigators are now looking into the role that former Russian intelligence official, Rinat Akhmetshin, played in the meeting between the Donald Trump Jr and a Russian lawyer who was offering damaging information about Hillary Clinton. It was revealed Friday morning that the former intelligence officer also attended the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower.
