Civil Rights Watchdog To Investigate Trump Administration A civil rights watchdog group has announced it will launch a two-year investigation of the Trump administration. The United States Commission on Civil Rights said it will begin the probe to examine whether civil rights offices are able to function. The United States Commission on Civil Rights is a bipartisan federal watchdog group. Republican Who Assaulted Reporter To Be Sworn In Next Week   Greg Gianforte, the Republican from Montana who was sentenced four days ago for assaulting report Ben Jacobs, will be sworn into Congress on Wednesday. Gianforte pled guilty to assaulting Jacobs the day before the Montana special election on May 25. As part of his sentence, Gianforte will complete 40 hours of community service as well as 20 hours of anger management counseling.
