NY Times Report: ‘Trump Could Suffer A Heart Attack While In Office’
Cardiologists warn Trump’s physical revealed significant heart disease.
Looks like the White House’s assertion that Donald Trump is in good health may not have been entirely accurate.
According to independent cardiac experts interviewed by The New York Times, President Trump’s “physical exam revealed serious heart concerns, including very high levels of so-called bad cholesterol, which raises the risk that Mr. Trump could suffer a heart attack while in office.”
This report runs in stark contrast to the message out of the White House which was that Trump is in excellent physical health.
Trump’s LDL cholesterol of 143 is very high, compared to the healthy level which is 100 or bellow.
One cardiologist interviewed by The New York Times noted how alarming it is that Trump’s cholesterol is so high despite the fact that he is already on medication to lower his cholesterol to normal levels.
“That’s a really high LDL. We’re talking about a 70-plus-year-old man who is obese and doesn’t exercise. Just looking at the lab value, you would raise a big red flag. I would never use the word excellent health. How you could take these indices and say excellent health? That is completely contradicted.”
