Deutsche Bank Has Notified Regulators Of ‘Suspicious’ Kushner Transactions
The suspicious bank records from Jared Kushner’s firm will likely be handed over to Robert Mueller’s investigation.
German financial giant Deutsche Bank has notified German regulators of “suspicious transactions” relating to Jared Kushner’s business accounts, a German business magazine reported Friday.
In addition to reporting the suspicious financial transaction to German banking regulators, Deutsche Bank is also reportedly willing to hand the records over to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
According to Mother Jones, which reported on the German business magazine story, Deutsche Bank’s chairman Paul Achleitner instructed the bank to conduct an internal investigation which came back with troubling results.
“Achleitner’s internal detectives were embarrassed to deliver their interim report regarding real estate tycoon [Jared] Kushner to the financial regulator BaFin,” Manager Magazin report noted, which was translated from Mother Jones.
“Their finding: There are indications that Donald Trump’s son-in-law or persons or companies close to him could have channeled suspicious monies through Deutsche Bank as part of their business dealings.”
In addition to Kushner, Donald Trump has deep financial ties to Deutsche Bank which has faced scrutiny and fines for a massive Russian money laundering scandal.
It’s been previously reported that Donald Trump banking records with Deutsche Bank have been subpoenaed by investigators.
