Donald Trump wasn’t able to escape the obesity label again this year.
The results from President Trump’s annual physical are in, and well… it ain’t a good look for Trump.
The annual check-up revealed that President Trump is obese. Weighing in at 243 pounds with a listed height of 6’3” officially places Trump in the obese category.
Trump had narrowly avoided the obese label last year, but then again his doctor Dr. Ronny Jackson was forced to resign as the President’s doctor in scandal shortly after conducting Trump’s annual physical. So there is a lot to question about the validity of Trump’s last physical.
Regarding Trump’s obese BMI ranking, as CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta explained, “While BMI is not a perfect assessment of one’s health, when someone is clinically obese and has other risk factors, that significantly raises the concern for having heart problems.”
However, there is plenty of evidence that Trump is actually much further in the obese category than his annual checkup suggests.
Trump is lying about his height
Body Mass Index is based on height and weight so the higher your weight compared to height, the higher your BMI. So when Trump lies about his height by a few inches it makes a big difference in his official BMI. At 6’3” Trump is listed at a BMI of 30.4 at the low end of obese. However, if Trump true height is 6′ then his actual BMI is closer to 33, much further into the obesity category.
Trump’s height, according to the report is 6 feet and 3 inches, however as countless news outlets including The Rachel Maddow Show have pointed out, Donald Trump is nowhere close to 6’3”.
Trump claims to be 6’3”, but here is a handy comparison photo of Donald Trump standing next to Jeb Bush who is actually 6’3”. As you can clearly see, Trump is lying about his height. Trump is not 6’3”.
