Democrats Get Upset Victory Iowa House District That Went For Trump Dems get another special election win.  In another sign that Democrats have the momentum going into the 2018 midterm elections, Democrats pulled off a victory in Iowa’s 82nd state House district. The district had been trending away from Democrats. After voting for former President Barack Obama twice, Iowa’s 82nd district went heavily for Trump last year.
